Climate and Coffee
Coffee waste and other sub-products represents a threat to the environment if not properly managed; a strategy to know more about this impact and treatment in Ethiopia should be put in place, taking into account the opportunities for the elaboration of coffee by-products that can have high economic value and reduce emissions drastically.
Additionally, coffee by-products can increase coffee growers’ income significantly allowing them to diversify their source of income and to achieve better quality of life conditions.
