The Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority (ECTA) is established in order to support, guide, protect and empower the development of the Coffee, Tea and Spice industry through refined understanding, innovation and industrial excellence deserving of the unique natural asset of the Nation. The institution has been implementing various coffee production, processing, and marketing activities to enhance the sustainability of the national economy and improve the wellbeing of smallholder farmers, including women and youth.
