The future of coffee and climate change

Climate change is going to be very tough for the coffee business in the future. But this future is still conceivable if the correct plans and funds are made. Therefore, all concerned stakeholders need to be proactive in addressing climate change by encouraging sustainable cultivation methods, and assisting coffee growers in developing adaptability to shifting circumstances and boost the climate resilience of entire coffee landscapes.

In the mean time, coffee growers can implement a wide range of coping or adaptation strategies that are practiced locally or developed elsewhere. Among others, key adaptation measures or option are listed below.
